w/ Parajunkee & Alison Can Read

Feature and Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekly meme where participants hop from one blog to the next using the linky on Parajunkee’s or Alison Can Read’s site, follow, say hi and discuss books. This week’s features are:

Pawing Through Books

Book Den

Question of the Week: Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?

In bound copy – 34.  Ebook?  I’m not counting those, there isn’t enough time left in time for me to count those, so let’s roll with “a lot.”   This post has inspired me to get off my computer and get to reading.

UPDATE:  Saz101 has given me the gumption to count my ebooks:  that number is….224.   Aaaaand, now I’m going to go wimper in a corner.

Total? 258

What’s your sign number?

Check out the happenin’s this week!

My Teaser Tuesday featured a quote from Under the Never Sky!

Mwahaha! I’m feeling overwhelmed at 60-70 total, including eBooks. I’m starting to panic and feel overwhelmed. I *shudder* to think how many eBooks you have stashed away!

I didn’t count my ebooks in this number either. It’d make me feel even more self conscious of my slow reading abilities. This has definitely motivated me to get reading as well!

Hopping through. Haha – the question has inspired me to read more too. I’m trying to speed through my comments to get back to my book.
And I love that I’m not the only one who uses books for bed support :-) Most of the books we’re using are religious books that my father in law buys my husband but he never reads. My hubby said it was the most use the church books had ever had :-) I suppose we’ll be going to hell now.

Hi, Just stopping by on the Friday Follow.

I have about 4 e-books on my computer that are waiting to be read and reviewed. On the shelf there are none. I usually get books from the library and take them back after reading them. A holdover from my bout with homelessness? Maybe.

    I am at

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Your physical copy pile is a good size, but I’m curious how many ebooks you have if you are scared to count! :) Have a great weekend!

    Mwaha! Ouch… 224…
I feel like I’m somehow a bad influence… you know, making you confront that number. I used to be OK with eBooks! I’d only buy them when I was ready to read them, but they’ve started accumulating… at an alarmingly rapid rate :S

I mean, I see a book I want at a .99c promo, and I’m like “OK!”. I don’t even stop/question/think. And I think once they get into my Kindle app they start behaving like mice or bunnies and multiplying O___O
